My DS is nearly 1 & has been on an egg & dairy free diet since weaning due to allergies. Following some tests today, our Doctor has advised us to start a graded exposure programme, starting with skimmed milk (as an ingredient of baked goods) which sounded reasonable when he said it but now I've started looking I have no idea how to introduce it! None of my recipe books have anything except a recipe for soda bread but that involved buttermilk and egg too (both no-no's). Tried googling but no luck either.

Any recipes for breads, biscuits or similar would be greatly appreciated. They need to be milk/yoghurt free (I can swap butter for dairy free spread) & egg free - sorry to be so picky. Thanks!

muffins include milk, as do yorkshire puds.

Just make simple cookies with some of the flour replaced with milk powder. That is what my brother did.

Bread machine recipes include milk powder in straight forward loaves. Like this one for example allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/965/bread-machine-white-loaf.aspx

That sounds manageable CharmedLife. Why didn't I think of that Blush

Thanks AnnoyingOrange - no breadmaker at home but think will just tip some powder into regular bread recipe (apparently it makes a nicer crust!)
