My 3 yr old is Lactose intolerant. We are trying out other milks mow as he has to come of Neocate.

Soya and rice - he's dismissed as utterly yuck.

This morning he tried almond milk. I warmed it slightly and he had some in his cup but hardly drank any of it but he said it was nice on his cereal.

At midday he did a huge explosive poo. It really took me back to the the first 18months of his life.

Anyone had similiar experiences with almond milk. If so what milk was ok for you/your child?

There is a cows milk called Lactofree that he could have if he is lactose intolerant rather than dairy intolerant. They sell it in the supermarket. Oat milk is supposed to be ok too.

We tried Lactofree a year ago and his eczema came out really badly. I think oat milk is the next purchase...

I also have a carton of coconut milk to test.

Poor kid - I feel huge guilt for making him icky.
