Long shot, but was wondering whether there is dairy free milk available in the shops there to save us carting some in our suitcase as we have enough stuff to take!!

France. We normally take milk and butter and alpro desserts. I was just hoping to cut down on the weight as we have ski boots and helmets etc to fit in the luggage.

The hotel sounds as if it caters well for allergies from the website and from some comments on trip advisor, I really hope that is the case!

I have been to Flaine but I do not have allergies. There is a small supermarket there, I cannot remember what it is called though. I don't seem to remember being too close to a town, it is a purpose built type resort. Sorry I'm not being too useful. Can you google the name of the supermarket there? Would the supermarket have a website?

Just as an update in case this can help anyone, the childcare coordinator from the hotel phoned to discuss allergies and I was able to ask about the availability of soya milk etc.

The answer was that there is none as the range in the supermarket is very limited, so to bring everything he might need.
