Has dealing with ds's allergies made me paranoid or am I developing one now?

As previously mentioned, I am giving ds Bamba snacks to try to prevent him becoming allergic to peanuts. Yesterday I also ate a couple and within about ten minutes one side of my top lip felt strange, like a throb but without the actual throbbing if you see what I mean? The feeling did not pulse but just stayed there :-S. No itching or rash or swelling or breathing changes or anything else at all. Just this weird feeling in my lip. I took a spoon of ds's cetirizine to see if that would make a difference but nothing really changed and it wasn't til about four or five hours later that the feeling finally faded. Does this round like the beginning of an allergy or am I just so wrapped up in dealing with ds's allergies that I have gone bonkers?! Obviously i'm too worried to eat any more, but i've got to keep giving them to ds. Is that safe? Arguments against: I have a mouth ulcer on the inside of my lip directly behind where my lip felt odd, and my mouth and tongue have been feeling generally odd for the last couple of weeks...

Bumping. Don't think I've explained myself very well here but have posted here in General Health. Would appreciate any experiences/advice - am getting a bit panicky Sad
