Brandy to use in cake regarding nut allergy?

Hi, just wondered if anyone has checked out different brandy's with regards to nut allergy and any nut contamination. Dd needs to make a cake at school and I have never had to look into this before. Any brands you know are safe to use let me know please. Thanks

Normal French brandy is fine - honestly!
I am a cake maker (have my own business) - and I have a dd with a severe nut allergy.
