Gritty poo in 19 month olds nappy.

Hi my 19 month old dd has started to have gritty/sandy like poo in her nappies. I'm 100% sure she has not eaten sand/dirt. I've just googled and a lot of forums suggest it could be a gluten intolerance? Does anyone have experience of this? I dont know a lot about intolerances, my other dd's, friends and family have none. Thanks.

wheatabix makes poo grity, ....if teething, can make poo acid and gritty at times. give more water, as they loose more if they dribble while teething etc.

if no pain in tummy sleeping well, esp on back, and no ezcema or chest probs, all is well.....

Hi thanks for replying. She doesn't have weetabix often enough for it to be that. I think she is teething so i'll keep an eye on it, its just strange as my other 2 dd's never had gritty poo.
