PGL dealing with egg/dairy free diets?

I have booked a last-minute family holiday with PGL for the half term break. I can't eat egg or dairy, and have told them over the phone, but has anyone here actually gone to a PGL holiday and needed egg-free and dairy-free food?

Apparently it's all buffet-style, I am wondering if food is labelled egg or dairy free or if we have to ask every time.

Not sure about a family holiday but when they do school trips they are used to having to cope with allergies as so many children have them. However the school are very aware and have liased beforehand with them as to the content of the food
