DD is 3 and we ended up in A & E on Sat as she had a bad reaction to (cashew nuts)?. The hospital said she needs allegy testing. I sense it may take months on NHS so plan to see a private consutant, can anyone reccomend one in London?

Thanks

where are you in London?

your best bet is probably to go to your GP - they have to write the referral letter anyway and they will know where your nearest one is. If you call your local main hospital, you may find that the NHS consultants do private clinics aswell.

I've posted sites before where you can get lists of allergy clinics. However if pushed your gp may agree to take blood and send for testing for a nut screen. Takes several weeks to get the results. London waiting lists aren't as bad as the rest of the country, you may be able to get skin prick tests quite quickly as she's been to a&e once.
