Adult allergies - what next after skin prick tests...

Hi - does anyone with any experience of allergies know what the Drs are looking for now that they have completed skin prick tests? They said something about blood tests to rule out other auto-immune problems. What other 'auto-immune' thingys are out there??

Lots I'm afraid! It depends what's been the problem, but it can range from conditions affecting your skin, your gut, to pretty much anything. Maybe you could add more detail as to what's been happening and then we could think of some possibilities.
