Dr appt for DS next week, what do I need to ask?

My DS aged nearly 4 has had diarrhoea and lots of wind (very explosive poos!) on and off for 6 months plus. He doesn't seem at all bothered, not in any pain at all and eats lots. I took him to the Dr a couple of months ago who did a stool test to rule out salmonella etc and said everything was fine. I have made another appt for next week as it just doesn't feel right, and I am wondering now if he has a food intolerance. Have started a food diary and realised he eats a lot of dairy so maybe it's that. Anyway my question is, what should I be asking my GP? Should I be asking for tests? If so, what? Or should I ask about a referral, and if so what kind of specialist would he need to see? Any ideas or tips much appreciated. We are in London and have private healthcare so could see someone privately if anyone has any specific recommendations. Thanks so much!

Hi thanks so much for replying, I haven't seen a sample chart, what is it?

H Pylori bacterium, just a suggestion, I have suffered with it recently, all the symptoms you described I had.
I was very windy, painful upper tummy and very unpredictable bowel motion.
My GP ordered stool analysis and confirmed it.
Apparently bacterium enters the system via food.
Good luck.
