DS who is 19 months is allergic to: dairy, soy, eggs, beef, and lamb.

He recently was covered in hives when I gave him some hummus, even though skin prick test to sesame was negative. That said, he passed a peanut challenge but has had rashes and itching on contact with peanuts too.

The other day I used an Ella's kitchen curry sauce, however he had the most dreadful reaction though, covered in hives and his face was bright red and blotchy. The list of ingredients were are follows:

Organic vegetable stock 38%
(water and organic vegetables: carrots, leeks, onions, swedes and parsnips)
Organic butternut squash 21%
Organic onions 8%, Organic papayas 8%
Organic carrots 7%
Organic green beans 6%
Organic red peppers 4%
Organic basmati rice 3%
Organic coconuts 3%
Organic ginger 1%, Organic garlic

the ginger?

nothing else screams possible allergens unless its the peppers?

That said can't you be allergic to anything where thers a protein involved somehow?

Green beans?
Legume, same family as peanut. And Chickpeas in the hummus. My DD is very allergic to these things. And peas, and Lentils, all the same family.

Thank you for your thoughts.

DS is fine with peas, in fact it's all he seems to eat at the moment Smile.

Next appointment is in September so'll I hold off until then.

Thanks again
