Need ds to see someone who knows what they are on about.
He has recently had skin prick tests and did not react to egg (which he has previously been allergic to). Doc told me to start introducing egg in cooked form slowly and gradually eg cake , then biscuits etc
Am a bit scared as others appear to have had an 'egg challenge'!?!
Any tips peops?????

you might find a part time clinic, if you ask gp to search. but there isnt a full time one in wales, well , thats what i was told some years ago.

southampton is v good.

but others in london.

keep pushing your gp to find a pead immunologist, or nearest best thing.

you could ask for a RAST /blood test just to be sure.

did your son have antihistamines near time of test?

is his ezcema under control ?

why do you suspect egg allergy? is it clear cut that egg is culprit?
