Any babies with eczema that isn't like eczema?!

That sounds a bit ridiculous but her eczema is non typical ie not on backs of joints. Its in big patches all over arms, back and face, with a few patches on legs. The 1% cortesone is not really doing anything anymore. I am going to the eczema clinic on Monday and using Dermal 500 and Epaderm. The Dermal is OK the Epaderm stinks a horrid petrochemical smell and I don't really like it.

I was using a natural cream with more success. But I can't get it on prescription and it's v expensive.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas really.

I have tried:
Oats in bath
Aveeno
Not washing
washing

Any other suggestions or experiences I would be v grateful for.

Try using nothing other than a layer of vaseline one night before you put nightclothes on and then see if it clears by morning.
