I get mouth ulcers if I do eat any

So is it an allergy or an intolerance

It is annoying especially as I like marzipan

Sounds more like an intolerance. Allergies tend to provoke more immediate, often life threatening reactions to the allergen.

Not much fun though Sad

I wonder if almond oil is in a lot of cosmetics & toiletries?
I have terrible trouble with bath & skin stuff

Almond is actually related to cyanide! My FIL's mother once nearly killed him with a cake containing both ground almonds and almond oil.

Oh yes

Actually I was thinking about the other allergy type issues I have; I have lots of contact allergies (metal, rubbers, plastics etc) & tonnes of toiletries & cosmetics. Now obviously the rubber/metal stuff is just them on their own but if they use almond oil in cosmetics/toiletries I could look for it on the label & avoid it

It means I could start back experimenting with stuff - which I haven't done for years

But if it isn't a common ingredient then I don't need to bother iyswim
