Just wondered if anyone could reassure me and tell me how long they had to wait for results of a biopsy to test for coeliac disease? DS had his done on 6th July and we're still waiting. The consultant said they would take 10 days but 3 weeks on and we're still waiting

Try here for any info members2.boardhost.com/glutenfree/
and also coeliac uk is worth joining when first diagnosed.
Some fab foods available on free prescription, its trial and error finding what you like, i've never really liked the sliced breads but the baguettes and rolls are fine.
Also some great foods online from www.gfree.co.uk/
and making cakes with doves farm self raising flour is just the same as normal cakes.
Really good cook book is www.amazon.co.uk/Healthy-Gluten-free-Eating-Ultimate-Wheat-free/dp/1856265420/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=b ooks&qid=1280873723&sr=8-3
It takes a while to find everything available but loads of advice online and to be honest now you have had the diagnosis you are on your own, the dietition can't tell you anything you can't find out for yourself but you will get loads of freebies.
