Home alcohol detox?

Hello everyone.

Any recommendations please for home alcohol detox in the north of England?

I have previously detoxed at Oasis in Bradford but cannot afford that again, unless they accept credit card payments.

I home detoxed by telling everyone I had to stop, stocking up on sweet, easy drinks and snacks, protein too and getting to at least one AA meeting a day. 18 years sober ago so it worked!

If you need a medical detox these are normally available through your local drug and alcohol
service. I don’t know where you are but (as an example) in York this would be https://www.changegrowlive.org/service/york-drug-alcohol/info#offer these services are funded by the local council and are free. If you google the name of your (nearest) town or city and ‘drug and alcohol service’ you will be able to find your nearest service. Good luck.
