Don’t worry as long as it was a one off/isolated for a little while.

I had a few to many other day but it made me have much-needed longest and deepest sleep in an absolute long time and did not cause injury to myself, though didn’t get up next day thinking I must do this again very next day as the old me would have so I see it as a positive. I’d give anything to go back to that Easter weekend but we can’t go back and indeed after being put in heavy compression yesterday for my foot problem I was glad I’d had my slip up sooner.

Look after yourself. Appreciate how hard it is getting support if you are already mid-way through helping yourself. We’re all entitled to a slip up now and then.

You’ve shared your thoughts on here now so maybe keep those as a reference to make sure you don’t her into a habit of it. 9 pints is a lot (and I like a drink). My measure is that I must be able to read a book when I go to bed. So that usually means one drink only. Yes. I do break that sometimes and I used to have a wine every tea time as I’d be frazzled with the DC by then, but it started to creep up on me and I love my DC too much to have let it become a problem. I wish I liked chocolate more but I don’t! Good luck 🤞
