Trying to cut down be a better wife and parent .. good days and bad.. did anyone have any other signs of drinking too much ? Eg tiredness or dry skin etc the unusual symptoms that don’t get seen so easily that can can get fobbed off as something else

I think you’re asking the question “are things bad enough I have to change?”.

The better question is “are things good enough to stay the same?”.

There’s a brilliant book called The Sober Diaries by Clare Pooley - you might find it helpful. Good luck.

Finally attended my first meeting this week with smart recovery
quite comforting. They also do a work book and self help sheets.

Ended up in hospital half way through my 100 sober days with weird infection of the skin but district nurse randomly said HRT can give skin problems. You know when it goes through your mind but no firm answers here.
