Really good soft drinks that feel like a treat...

I know this has been done over and over but I've never really found an answer. Looking for something non alcoholic, which is delicious and sippable. Lemonade etc is nice but I'll just glug it down! There are so many expensive non alcoholic drinks out there now but I'd like to know they tasted OK before I invested in them instead of a bottle of Schweppes!
Looking for something with a little bit of bite and dryness I think. Something healthier than pinot grigio!
Sorry if this has been done over and over, I'm just looking for that 'thing'.

If you like warm spirits like whiskey, Rochester ginger is lovely. Got my dad through the start of dry jan, and I’m on day 2 of reducing my intake and needing something sharp. Lovely with ice, and ginger is so good for you anyway

Highly recommend the Lounge chain non alcoholic offerings. The mocktails are good but also they have great coolers plus clear head ipa best non alcoholic beer I’ve had

HarryVanderspeigle · 10/06/2025 20:15

You can get some good no alcohol gin and tonics pre mixed. The problem with buying separately is that the "gin" doesn't have the alcohol to preserve it, so goes off a lot quicker.

I like elderflower cordial with tonic over lots of ice with fresh mint and a squeeze of lime

ChangingScam · 10/06/2025 21:52

Fever tree ginger ale on ice

For a budget option Sainsbury’s dry ginger ale is good too - much better than the other supermarket brands.

This is brilliant thank you! Made a list and will work my way through it!

Fentimans cola and Fevertree cola - not all that sweet. Another vote also for Trip and Goodrays.

Andoutcomethewolves · 11/06/2025 00:42

Already mentioned upthread but Goodrays and Trip CBD drinks are brilliant. They give me the best night's sleep (important to me as a chronic insomniac who used alcohol to sleep), are very calming (again, important to me as I used to self medicate with alcohol and occasionally drugs to calm my anxiety).

But no drunkenness, no hangover! They taste lush too (especially Goodrays, I have a subscription on Amazon now to get them delivered regularly)

Fever Tree Mexican Lime soda with loads of ice and fresh lime wedges is my drink of choice. Divine.

lurchermummy · 11/06/2025 13:25

I got some really nice dealcoholised rose fizz from Majestic Wine, sorry I can’t remember the exact name, but it was dry, and very acceptable. I’ve tried Nozecco etc and don’t like them but this one was nice.

mindutopia · 11/06/2025 13:34

I like the Remedy ginger kombucha.

Martini also do 2 AF apperitivos. There’s a red one and a blond one. I really like the blond one mixed with tonic.

UnaOfStormhold · 11/06/2025 13:45

Kombucha is delicious - I love the sour/fizzy/conplex combination.

Elderflower cordial with tonic is good too

I also make an apple mojito with lime cordial, lime juice, apple juice and crushed mint

Maddy70 · 11/06/2025 13:47

Kas bitters tastes like campari

Icanttakethisanymore · 11/06/2025 22:07

Kombucha, ginger beer, tonic water with orange juice

CrushingOnRubies · 12/06/2025 19:29

The Seville Orange Tanquery 0% is nice with tonic water

Gordon's non- alcoholic gin is lovely (has that bite without the sweetness)

I agree but it doesn't keep long once opened as i found out !

ChampagneRose · 14/06/2025 19:30

I like Dalston’s. They do a rhubarb one, a cherry one and a pineapple one. I quite like the more tart ones so the rhubarb and the cherry ones are great. Pineapple is lovely but a bit sweet.
