Alcohol free - Budweiser/similar alternatives

Userno1234567890 · 21/04/2025 19:39

Hi MN,

Looking to cut back on my alcohol consumption. Are there any alternatives to the above? So not strong tasting etc

I know that Budweiser do alcohol free but nowhere locally sells it (small village), due to this looking for more popular/stocked 0% brands if anyone knows :)

Thank you x

Corona Zero is the one Halo

HowardTJMoon · 21/04/2025 19:50

The zero alcohol Stella is very drinkable but I agree with @HateHorridHenry Corona Zero is the best I've found.

Onewildandpreciouslife · 21/04/2025 19:57

Lucky Saint is my favourite, but not tried Corona Zero.

Heineken 0 is quite widely sold, but I always found it gassy

Userno1234567890 · 21/04/2025 19:58

@HateHorridHenry @HowardTJMoon thank you both. Will definitely try & report back.

@HowardTJMoon strangely I’m pretty sure Stella is stocked but had pretty much wrote that off without trying so is good to know.

@Onewildandpreciouslife thank you. Will look for this too. Yes, not fond of the original Heineken either.

Yes, currently I'm really liking the lucky Saint too, both the lager and the IPA

rubyslippers · 21/04/2025 20:15

Becks blue
Guineas zero
brooklyn special effects lager

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 21/04/2025 20:24

Becks Blue

VeryQuaintIrene · 21/04/2025 20:59

Brewdog Elvis AF is my go-to (and only 15 calories!)

Eastermuppet · 21/04/2025 21:07

I like ghost ship (0.5%) and Guinness zero

Needapadlockonmyfridge · 21/04/2025 21:08

Guinness Zero - really good!
Heineken zero not bad.

mindutopia · 22/04/2025 14:43

If you want a very light lager, Stella, Beck’s Blue, Heineken, Corona zero.

nessiesnotreal · 22/04/2025 14:46

Another vote for Corona Cero. Chill it in the fridge and add a small slice of lime to the bottle and drink straight from the bottle! Yum! Perfect alcohol free and low calorie drink for a spring/summer day. Light and refreshing and the nicest alcohol free beer out IMO.

Heineken second.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 22/04/2025 15:11

Lucky Saint

Becks Blue gives me worse headaches than actual Becks!

MorrisZapp · 22/04/2025 15:21

I love Peroni zero. And German type radler beers which are about 2% alcohol and fruity, perfect for summer.

lunaswand · 22/04/2025 15:30

Becks Blue is really goof or Erdinger if you prefer more of an Ale

MouldyCandy · 22/04/2025 16:22

I like the Lidl Peroni. Get yourself to the next town with a "big supermarket" and just taste test your way through their 0% selection.

littlemisssunshine247 · 22/04/2025 16:41

Birra Moretti

candycane222 · 22/04/2025 16:45

Not a fan of the corona myself, find it a bit thin-tasting, much prefer the peroni one. In bitters i like ghost ship and I recently had a bottle of low alc proper job, which I thought was very good indeed

mambojambodothetango · 22/04/2025 17:21

FreeDam
Asahi
Guinness

Purplecatshopaholic · 22/04/2025 17:23

Agree re the above. See also Erdinger, it’s lovely stuff.

Penko25 · 22/04/2025 17:26

Lucky Saint or Peroni 0
I don’t like Heineken 0. Corona 0 is drinkable.

OMGitsnotgood · 22/04/2025 17:42

I had Lidl‘s Perlenbacher O% at a party recently when I was driving, definitely worth trying OP.

Cafog · 22/04/2025 20:48

Another vote for Corona 0, with a slice of lime i honestly can't taste the difference

helpfulperson · 22/04/2025 21:11

Lidl's own brand is my favourite. Closely followed by Perone. Although I think it helps that I only drink AFB. If I'm having alcohol I wouldn't drink beer so am not expecting to taste exactly like anything.
