I have never felt so alone, my elderly mum has had an issue with drink for as long as I can remember. Just hearing friends planning things with their Mum makes me realise how my life has never been nor ever will be like that. DH is lovely but doesn’t like to go out much doesn’t like crowds etc.

Not sure of the point of this post but I guess just feel sad.

I can relate, no particular advice but didn't want to read and run. It feels like a betrayal on so many levels. My situation is better at the moment but fluctuates. Be kind to yourself, it's tough. Flowers
