Has anyone read this? I'm halfway through the audio book and am feeling nothing. I have only heard good things and I am being open minded, I just can't see where it's going. I also know of people who went the clinic and were tea total. For exactly 1 year, then we're drinking again. I don't know if they went back.
Am I being too hasty?

What are you doing in your life to make things better and support being sober?

I haven’t read the book, though I know lots of people who have and had good things to say about it, but I think a book by itself won’t change anything unless you do?

Do you have support? I would look for a community (online is easiest) where you can talk to others who are quitting. It helps a lot.

I haven't read this book but in general I find listening to things often feels less 'involved' than reading. Are you really focusing on it when you are listening? I find my mind wanders a bit.

Funny enough I get that with reading, which is why I chose the audio book. I'll stick with it and I am hearing it, but it's hard to feel it. Like I said I'm only half way through.
