Do you think long term alcohol use changes your personality long term?

Yes. Severe alcoholism causes brain damage, so that leads to personality changes and forms of early dementia. I witnessed it in an aunt as a child, teenager and young adult and it still haunts me.

Yes of course. Alcohol disrupts brain chemistry & long term disuse can cause dementia. It’s not great for the brain.

Alcohol takes you up with the first drink then down for rest. Sleep affected and depression and anger on sober days.

Yes …absolutely . It’s like a drip feed of water into a PC eventually it’s gonna start acting weird .

Yes. It does, because it rewires the brain. Whether you ask for yourself of someone you know, I would speak to AA as there is life after recovery. And hope.
