Can white hair turn yellow if alcoholic

My ex-h is serious alcoholic and looking increasingly awful. His hair is now white, which is not unusual. But I noticed that there was a very distinct tinge to it. Could this be as a result of the alcoholism. I've googled and it says about skin and eyes but not hair. Thank you.

No - not a smoker... but maybe just a weird hair colour.

Skin and eyes can become yellowed because of liver damage.

Hair just needs a toner to take out any brassy element - it's very common as the colour in the hair stops being produced for a samll amout to remain leaving a slightly yellow tinge.
