Well done my lovely!!

Hope you're in bed peacefully asleep now. The worst is over, and you have done so well. Christmas is so hard and a trigger point for many, well done for doing this. It will get easier from tomorrow!! Keep going you can do this!!

After tomorrow it will all be about New Year, which is easier. Rebirth, regeneration, hope and renewal. Sending you lots of positivity and good wishes xxx

@missyboots - it is so hard, with the normalisation and indeed promotion of drinking as normal. Even the Vicar of Dibley last night was about the booze - she got drunk but it was presented as a cutesy funny ha ha - the vicar is drunk at the service, isn’t this a hoot.

as @Theredfoxfliesatmidnight says, at new year it will be all about not drinking (I’m thankful for dry January!) and getting healthy so hopefully you will be able to revel in being sober.
