Unexpected physical benefits of reducing/stopping alcohol

I have drastically reduced my drinking since October, from 30+ units per week to only having had a drink a handful of times since. Still working out if long term goal will be moderation or alcohol free. There's a few things I've noticed recently which I can only think are due to reducing drinking:

Fewer headaches - not (just) hangovers but general headaches, used to get fairly frequently but now hardly ever

Better digestion - have stopped having issues with bloating and IBS type symptoms

Better skin and hair - less dry and plumper younger looking skin. Also gum inflammation has gone.

Just wondering what physical benefits everyone else noticed when the reduced/quit?

Better sleep -although that took around 3 months to settle after going AF.
Skin no longer puffy and grey looking.
Weight loss.
Cellulite diminished.
Better digestion.
Reduced anxiety.

A big benefit has been that I am a lot richer too now I’m no longer spending
£££’s each month on alcohol.

Well done @GettingFree! I’ve lost some weight, without even trying, and it’s around my middle which was always the bit that bothered me most. I’m so much less puffy, I can see it in my face and even my wedding ring isn’t tight anymore- I had assumed that was menopause, not booze!
