I started Wegovy about 3 weeks ago (semaglutide injection for weight loss). Have lost a couple of kg but honestly best thing about it, is that it's really suppressed my desire to drink alcohol. Have been on several Xmas nights out and stopped drinking after 2-3 drinks. This is unheard of for me and a major bonus. I would usually be one of the drunkest ones there.
Have been reading online and this effect is well recognised - wonder if it will ever become licensed for this?
