Alcohol related Tinnitus

Hello everyone. I am on Day 2 now... I have noticed these last few month Tinnitus in my ears and wondered if anyone else has this and has it got better when you gave up Alcohol? Perhaps I'm grasping at straws but it's driving me insane and a quick google search suggested alcohol can make this condition worse.
I'm early 40's

I saw no one had answered your question. Sorry I don’t have any personal experience of tinnitus. But alcohol makes so many things worse, and it certainly won’t be making it better, so it’s very worth giving it up to see what improvements you see. My issues are GI ones and stopping drinking made a massive difference in terms of my digestive system and overall quality of life. I’m healthier now in my early 40s than I was a decade ago. Well done on getting started!
