Hope everyone is well. 10 days alcohol free today but I nearly just threw it all away. Partner and son go out on a Saturday afternoon. I've sat and thought I'd love a drink. I've convinced my self to order one. I've asked a friend to borrow me money and finally ive sent the money back.and didn't order in the end.
I have no idea how I found the strength to do that but I'm so glad I did. I think if I'd have had the money in my bank I'd have 99% ordered one. I'm happy with the outcome but scared for the times I am able to order a drink in and not have to borrow money.
Does that feeling of wanting a drink ever go away?

I am 63 days sober today. I do still have cravings but they do get easier to ride out slowly.

Weekends are a big trigger for me - I find they drag so much.

I also have no money in my bank account so it’s easier as I literally can’t get my hands on any alcohol.

I can’t wait for the cravings to pass.

Keep going.

I don’t want to go back to the beginning again - that I am sure off. Haribo and Skittles also help.

Wow that's amazing. Well done you. Well I got through the night and it's nearly time for bed. Another little win for me. Xx
