Drunk and aggressive - in front of a child

Would you report this? The woman is the child's mother. The woman is a drunk and gets aggressive with anyone who "crosses" her ie anyone who she perceives to be looking at her the wrong way, anyone who who is in her way. The child looks terrified.

Is this happening now? If so call the police. If not, call SS.

They live locally to me. I've seen this a few times. Last night she tried to start an argument with me - she didn't like the look on my face as I walked out of the supermarket. I just ignored, walked to my car and drive home. But I can't forget the look on that poor child's face.

Oh please report this? Do you know where she lives? You can report anonymously but please do it for the sake of the child. Services can work to ensure mum gets the support she needs. She may be known to them already but at least they'll know how she's behaving.

Not quite sure where they live. I see them in my town centre regularly. They are very noticeable because the woman goes into loud rages frequently. I'll report, I've got a description of them both and I'm assuming they live in or around this town.

I e spoken to the NSPCC and given them all the info I have, including the child's first name. They couldn't tell me anything ((fair enough) but said I did the right thing by reporting.
