How best to check damage and repair?

been thinking for months or longer that i had a bad relationship with alcohol and finally, after actually making myself sick from a totally unplanned binge - neighbours came over and what could have been a nice couple of glasses became all the rest - I have decided I dont want my kids growing up thinking this is normal. I havent vommitted from drinking for years and whilst I drank a lot I have drunk that much before and still, four days on feel very bloated and had and upset tummy for three days. I have support for giving up the drinking from a fantastic dh, but am wondering if there is a reliable way of checking if my recent reaction is a sign of longer term damage. I know lfts can be ok even if liver is not, has anyone had any other kinds of tests? Thank you.

Hi if you speak to your GP you can get gamma GT and others in this group. I believe this is more reliable that LFT. My GP was more than happy to check mine. I drank too much for far to long. Luckily all of my tests came back normal. Good luck.
