Hi all, I just registered as I'm looking for a bit of community/support. I'm hoping that this thread will keep me accountable. I am a mom and therapist living in Canada. This is the same old story of cracking open a bottle of wine after DD is tucked in. I'm at 3-4 bottles of wine per week and am feeling that this is not a healthy habit. I've begun tracking and my pattern is to go a couple of days with none, but then when I open the bottle, it's gone a few hours later. Lather, rinse, repeat. This is me on Day 1 AF.

Hi Bex, congratulations on starting your journey to a better, healthier you. If you want accountability and MN isn't enough, you might consider a peer support group of some type, either in person or virtual.

One sign of being vulnerable to alcohol abuse is the lack of an off switch once you start drinking, so you were right to pick up on that.
