Alcohol support
Has anyone stopped drinking, but only when out?

I've been thinking for a while that I might be better off giving up alcohol on nights out. Once I've had a few I don't always know when to stop, I often regret it the next day, I make some questionable decisions and I don't like wasting time the next day on a hangover.
However, I do like to have a drink (or sometimes two or three) some evenings at home and I don't think there is anything problematic in that. Everything I've read around stopping alcohol is around stopping it completely though, so I wondered if anyone else had taken this approach?
