I’ve been drinking way too much in the last 6 months. Lockdown was initially great being with my kids everyday, but the constant grind of trying to not even close sales- but even getting anyone interested to talk was soul destroying. Now I’m redundant, too much time on my hands, enough savings to disqualify me for UC. I made a lame ass attempt last month with taking about 10 cocodamal tabs which I went to A&E for. The local council therapy people won’t talk to me until I’m drinking less- so essentially they’ve fobbed me off until I’m fine..? Do they only want to talk with people who get a bit upset when people don’t eat with the correct fork?!?

I’m so sorry things aren’t too good for you right now. Have you spoken to the GP? They should be able to refer you for some appropriate help. Bumping so someone with some knowledge may come along who can give some suggestions.
I hope things improve for you soon Flowers
