Alcohol free wine?

I’m 12 weeks AF now 👏🏼👏🏼 And over summer I’ve been having Belvoir drinks to get me through the warm days etc but over winter I’m thinking I’d like something that’s not cold to drink. Is there such a thing as a half decent alcohol free red wine?!

In a word, no.

Indeed. There are some pretty decent alcohol free beers and ciders around, but like the OP, in winter I wouldn't fancy a long cold drink either.

That’s what I thought 😫 I tried some of the Prosecco style ones and they were rank. We poured the Nosecco down the drain after a mouthful. Hideous! I’ve read the same about the beer and cider but I don’t drink either, wine was always my drink. Hopefully someone will bring something out soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Three pregnancies over here - love wine. Never once found a decent alcohol free wine. Not once.

I'm a few years sober. At first I was desperate to find a good alcohol free wine but then realised I was better off drinking something that I didn't used to have cravings for, ie beer. There are some excellent alcohol free beers (only 0.0 though, don't drink 0.5%) and they really hot the spot now.

My friend insists the red wines in M&S are nice (I think it's Eisberg they sell?), I'm not a red drinker though so can't vouch for them myself.

The Sainsbury's Taste the Difference alcohol free prosecco is the best I've found. I'd given up the search, but we were going on a very booze-centred weekend with family and friends (last year obvs!) and I had good reasons for wanting to avoid alcohol without drawing too much attention to it, so started looking again.

This one is the driest and the least sugary I found. You never get the same depth of flavour, but given that it's a substitute and never going to be quite the same, it's a decent attempt! Worth a try. (And congrats!)

Ah thanks everyone! I’ve bought a couple to try with very low expectations 🙈🙈
