I know I need to do this. I’ve just poured away the last of the wine. But I’m already doubting if I can do it. It’s a simple thing to do but why does it seem so hard?

I'm with you. Husband is furious with me and I'm sick of walking on egg shells when I want wine. I'm miserable.

And I don't think it is a simple thing to do, it's an addiction, a habit, an escape. I think it's really hard to do!

I'm Day 2. I've done 90 days a couple of times in the past and it does get easier after the first week.

I’m on day 1 here. After a couple of years sober with the help of A.A. I relapsed during lockdown. Doing it one day at a time

Day 1 for me again, DH is so worried about me, he talked and hugged me and told me how concerned he was about me.
I was drinking in secret but he noticed last night and I could barely talk, I was so drunk.
The shame and guilt I feel today is horrible! He doesn't deserve this.
I'm determined to do this right, for him and me 😥

@holyjebus, what support do you have in place. Drinking in secret indicates you have a serious issue with alcohol. There is a lot of support on this board. I'm 9 days dry after a relapse after 2 years sober. It gets easier with each day
