Does anyone have any experience of this? My understanding is that it's a support group for teenagers who have an alcoholic member of the family? My DD is due to go to her first one tomorrow so any advice please? Thx

Al-Anon is for anyone who has a friend or relative with a drinking problem. There is an organisation for teenagers - Alateen - but not sure how many groups there are. A quick Google should tell you.

There don't seem to be many Alateen meetings so think she will try the Al-Anon
