How best to support?

After an incident last night, I am trying to be proactive rather than fuming

DH has woken up and finally admitted he needs to stop drinking.

I have suggested a support group he can attend and bought him books to read. I will happily stop drinking with him.

Is there anything else I can do to help? Really need this to work.

Hi.
IF your DH has finally admitted he has problem , get him into Drs for next step. My DH has recently done the same & he has had support & he went into rehab. Unfortunately he suffers depression too which they didn't help with. I hope your DH goes from strength to strength & be proud of him. And tell him well done from me too xx Halo
