There's a book I've seen mentioned on these threads before that people have said helped them get on the road to sobriety. Anyone know what it's called?

There are several good ones.
This Naked Mind is excellent but it contains a lot of scientific information.
The Unexpected Joy of Being Sober is an easier read.
Good luck

I've just read 'the easy way to control alcohol' which was good.

Alan Carr book stopped me drinking completely 6 months ago and I now have no urge to. That’s after 15 years drinking a bottle of wine a day. I listened to it on audio book and it literally changed my life.
Good luck :)
