Alcohol support
It is possible

Hi I just wanted to share that I've managed to stop drinking alcohol for 141 days and that even though it is really really hard at the beginning, it does honestly get easier. I never thought I would be able to give it up. I was drinking on average a bottle a night, sometimes slightly less but at weekends often more.
I started writing a blog about giving up wine but have now moved on to talking about other things because my life is so much better without alcohol in my life. I even managed to celebrate my birthday last week with sparkling water! Honestly if I can do it, you can too.
(If you would like to read my blog, it's at sunraintea.com. The stuff I wrote in January stemmed from giving up drinking and I've done a few updates since then. I'm also on Twitter @sunraintea.) 🙂

Well done!
I have been there and I know you will be amazed at how you've changed your life.
Thank you for the link to your blog. It's great that some people are willing to share and go to the effort of making a blog to help others.

Thanks @EleanorHooverbelt I know, honestly life is so much better without alcohol, I just wish I'd stopped sooner.
If anyone does want to look at my blog, in the drop down menu click 'sobriety' and the posts relating to giving up drinking will be there.
