Attended first AA meeting today

After promising my hubby & kids a 1000 times only 2 drinks, promise I'll never get drunk again to wake up the best day and have no recollection of the night before. Hubby has had enough the kids have had enough I am the only one who can help myself. So went to my 1st meeting today it was scary & daunting and I cried as I was welcomed as the new comer. I could so relate to all their stories!

Well done OP, that must have been such a difficult step to take. You're right too - the only person who can really make things change is you.
