I am on page 92 of this book and I'm loving it so far. It seems to make a lot of sense. Has it worked for anyone else?

So as not to drip feed I know I drink too much but quite a 'normal' amount in my circle. I love wine and champagne and cocktails and socialising, it doesn't affect my work but I need to cut down as I worry about my health long term. I don't want to give up just cut down and the thought of not drinking at Christmas etc isn't pleasant but from the reviews I've seen people seem to give up completely after reading it.

Good luck with your half marathon!

CatherineCawood · 25/02/2018 20:36

I did it! 2 hours 42 mins. So happy. Went to the pub after for lunch I did look quite longingly at my DH's pint but not for long. Practically hoovered my dinner down l was so hungry. So we weren't in there too long!

You friend sounds like maybe she has a problem? Do you think she does?

FelixCited · 26/02/2018 20:44

Well done you! Congratulations.
She does have lots of issues yes. I need to remember I am not responsible for her only my own actions x

CatherineCawood · 27/02/2018 16:29

Exactly! You can't let her tell you what you are going to drink and when. Ludicrous!

I gave up for 4 months after reading this book, it was an impressive way that the book worked for me.

Just ordered this book! Am hoping it will help me redress the balance. Like many others, I;m not looking to cut it out totally but would like to be a social drinker rather than a nightly drinker.
