Hi, I have SEVERE pain in my feet - no numbness or any other weird feelings , just a burning stinging pain . I have had it for over a year in the right foot and now the left one has joined in ! At first this was put down to a very small slipped disc in my back .. But I am increasingly thinking it is due to my bottle of white wine a day drinking habit which I indulged in for many years . I cut RIGHT back since 2013 including five months teetotal but I do still binge drink a few times a month . Could it be alcoholic neuropathy ? Has anyone had it ? The pain is unbearable .. I am very worried . Xx

Could you be at risk of diabetes?

Gout?

My MIL has AN and she describes it as burning pain - but if yours could be anything. AN is usually symmetrical - which is not necessarily consistent with your symptoms.

If it persists you should see a Dr - you might need VitB & VitD supps. If it is AN your binges will progress it.
