Inter-country adoption - Newsround

Tuesday's Newsround featured a nice video made by two children adopted from Guatemala by a British couple.

I love it when the adoptive parents do everything possible to allow their children to keep in touch with their culture of origin, as these parents obviously have.

Wherever possible, every child should have the opportunity to explore where they have come from and what has made them who they are, in every sense of the term.

I know them - they're a lovely family. I thought the newsround piece was nice.
