We've just been approved and have linked with a child. Has anyone ever been added to a what'sapp group with the foster carers and what did you use this for?

Chatting about the child, what they like, their routine, what they have at home etc it's really really useful just builds your relationship with foster carer at first we still have ours over 3 years in and send photos occasionally.

We asked lots of questions about food/bedtime/behaviour etc. Some of that was just for information to help us after placement but some was really practical e.g. how many sleeping bags she had and whether she'd need a new one for the summer. They also sent us photos and videos and we sent videos showing us, and the house and us singing nursery rhymes to build familiarity. I still send them photos of particularly cute things she does and we're nine months after placement.
