Adoption 1992 - help/advice needed

Hi all,
I was adopted in 1992 and was wondering if there is anyone here that was practicing family law back then? I have a question to ask as there’s something that doesn’t add up to me and I can’t seem to get the answers I need from my parents.
I have called a few solicitors offices and unfortunately there isn’t anyone that was practising in 1992 and the laws have changed since.
Thanks in advance

Hi
The people at pac-uk.org will be able to help you ( or you can google - 'family action, permanency and adoption support' and it will take you to their website)
They have help lines with people very well versed in all areas of adoption.
You will find a drop down menu with various categories, for example 'adopted adult support', there will be a help line phone number. I do believe they are the best starting place for your questions and in my experience they have been knowledgeable and compassionate and their advice is free.
I hope this helps.

Depending on your age- once you are 18 you should be able to request your file from the adoption agency involved.
