Writing the settling in letter

Hello, I'm just after a bit of advice on writing the settling in letter for the little boy that's been with a few weeks now. Should I type the letter or can I hand write it, what did information did you write in yours?

I typed mine as allowed me to keep amending until I was happy with it.

Keep it brief, 3-4 paragraphs is enough at this stage. Just include how he is, what you've been up to. Favourite activities and games. Favourite foods and just some reassurance he is well, safe and doing ok!

That is the first letter to his birth family, so I would make it personal and try to build a positive relationship with them.

We sent ours last week and social worker has come back today to say it was exactly what they wanted.

It's essentially
X is setting in to a routine with us. They get up at x time and our mornings look like this (playing (mention what with), teeth, face, breakfast etc).

We then go to a group/nursery/walk before having lunch at 12.
Favourite foods at the moment are x, y, z.

Afternoons usually mean going for a walk/park/meeting up with people.

Tea is at x time, then evening routine is play, bath, story, bed.

At the moment they like X tv show, music, books etc.

Essentially it's a reassurance that LO is safe and settled and is the start of the relationship with BPs.
Our social worker said to be vague (as in mention going to the park rather than this particular park) and when asked told me that they don't invite a response because the adoption order isn't through so BPs could still contest and this sort of thing can make it harder for both them and us.
