Have any of you come across Lemn Sissay?
I was at a poetry reading over the weekend. He has a new book of poetry out. Every day he writes a 4 line poem and publishes it on his social media. This one resonated with me

How do you do it says Night
How do you wake up and shine?
I keep it simple says Light
One day at a time

I love Lemn Sissay's writing. His book is very moving. He's such a good advocate for care experienced people.

I love his writing, I came across him when he was the official post for London 2012 - his writing is beautiful.

I first saw him live just before my son came home.
In the Q&A I asked what advice he would give me and he said Truth, always be truthful.
It's been hard sometimes but that advice has stood me in good stead.
I've been able to meet him briefly a few times after shows. He is utterly charming and very funny. An exceptional man
