Adoption meeting

We have an adoption meeting this weekend and have a holiday booked in a couple of weeks. Is it better to wait until we are back to register our interest?

I would get it in, they will work around the holiday if it falls when they want to see you 😀

@Petals2024 when you say adoption meeting do you mean an initial meeting with an agency about adopting, or meeting about matching like a family finding playday event?

Yes the first initial meeting just to find out a bit more information.

how long after the initial meeting do you need advise of your interest to go further?

Whenever you want - there’s no pressure to do it quickly. You could have your meeting, then take a week or even longer to consider whether you want to move forward. Then let them know if you want to progress and it could be another couple of weeks before the next stage starts.
