If you are letting the wife of your teenage daughter father adopt your daughter is there any support for you to work through the process and make sure it is done right?

So you are mum and consenting to the adoption on your daughter by your ex-partners new partner/wife?

Step parent adoptions are handled by the local authority, there has to be an assessment and a report. Your consent has to be gained so the LA will speak to you. As your daughter is a teenager her wishes will be taken into account.
